Buddies For Seniors is a student volunteer nonprofit 501c3 organization that works with senior citizens in the following focus areas.
1. Train seniors in using social networking apps and connect them with friends, extended family and communities to combat loneliness (43% of seniors feel lonely).
2. Perform cultural activities and involve seniors. Enable collaboration & learning for volunteers and seniors.
3. Organize workshops and presentations for seniors from experts in key areas (health, important life choices like wills, power of attorney, organ donation)

Connect
We help connect seniors with friends, extended family, colleagues and communities by teaching skills on social networking apps like Facebook, Skype, Twitter, FaceTime, YouTube and Email.
Care
We perform cultural activities and involve seniors. With these interactions that span generations, we enable learnings for volunteers and seniors.
Collaborate
We organize workshops and lectures by experts to assist seniors to make informed decisions on health aspects, wills, power of attorney, organ donation and other important decisions.
