Vikram Ruppa-Kasani

Vikram Ruppa-Kasani is a Junior at Duke University. Vikram co-founded Buddies for Seniors in 2015. Vikram is an Eagle Scout with Troop 69, Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys participating in Debate club, Beta club, Chess club, Swim team, National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society at School.

Vinod Ruppa-Kasani
Co-Founder
Vinod Ruppa-Kasani is a Senior at Chattahoochee High School in Georgia. Vinod co-founded Buddies for Seniors in 2015. Vinod is an Eagle Scout with Troop 69, Boy Scouts of America.

Betty Lou Anderson
Board Member
Betty Lou Anderson is a National Account Executive at Jackson & Coker in Alpharetta. She serves as the Brand Ambassador for the company. She was the first Girl Scout in the Black Diamond Girl Scout Council to receive the highest award in Girl Scouting, the Gold Award.
She developed her passion for volunteering and the Scouting program at a very young age. She met Vikram and his family while serving as a volunteer at Troop 69. She is currently Troop 69’s Committee Chair and is honored to serve on the board for Buddies for Seniors. She is a wife of 22 years to Dave and a very proud Mother of two Eagle Scouts, Kindle 20 and Cole 18. They have made their home in Alpharetta since 2005 and love their community.
Linda Wohlbach
Board Member
Linda Wohlbach is a 35-year IT professional, recently retired. She earned her BA in Psychology & Mathematics from Clemson University.
Linda has lived in metro Atlanta since 1985. She has three boys - Thomas, Matthew and Luke. She also has three rescued pets: dogs named Yui and Iroh and a cat named Lily (aka Kitty).
Linda was involved in Scouting for many years. In her formative years she worked through the ranks of Brownie through Senior Girl Scout, was assistant den leader for her son, Matthew’s Cub Scout/Webelos den, was den leader for her son, Luke’s Cub Scout/Webelos den and was Troop Committee Chair for Troop 648. As a Cadette Girl Scout, Linda earned the first four Challenge pins introduced in 1963. Linda also earned the Golden Quill Award in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Linda and Vikram’s father, Kamalesh, were members of the same Atlanta Area Council Wood Badge Course of 92-74 / S 9-92-13-3. Linda earned her Wood Badge beads in October 2014.
Linda is a member and treasurer of Coro Voci Inc, a non-profit choral group based in Tucker.
Linda is honored to serve on the board for Buddies for Seniors.
Dr. Aparna Kasani
Board Member
Dr. Aparna Kasani is a Research Scientist at Idexx/OPTI Medical Systems in Atlanta. She has a PhD in Chemstry from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
Aparna lives with her family in Alpharetta along with her husband Kamalesh, and two boys Vikram and Vinod.
