Johns Creek Event - Social networking is a hit with seniors

Before I share the details of our senior event at Johns Creek, here is a heartwarming stat - senior citizens are embracing the use of social networking fast, and at rates faster than all other demographics.

Our Technology event at Johns Creek Addington Senior House was a very fulfilling and humbling experience. We get to understand how navigating and using the apps come sort of natural to us - the kids and teens of today - and how they are not that intuitive to our senior citizens. We shared skill of apps (Facebook, FaceTime, Skype and YouTube) to seniors, documented some steps for them for future use. We all had fun with cultural dances from our terrific volunteers.
